The county that has it all…
Welcome to Golf Cheshire, celebrating the most challenging and enjoyable sport, across the English county of Cheshire.
From the rugged beauty of the links courses to the west, including 2023 Open host, Royal Liverpool, across the perfectly manicured flat parkland clubs of the Cheshire Plains, to the spectacular hilly courses of the Peak District to the east, Cheshire has it all!
The county boasts almost 100 golf clubs, including four that make it onto the Top 100 list, being Royal Liverpool, Delamere, Wallasey and Sandiway. It also lays claim to being the birthplace of Stableford, with the popular scoring system invented by Dr Frank Stableford, at Wallasey Golf Club in 1932.
